ABOUT ME

JACK FISHER

I am an artist currently living in Philadelphia. My work takes many forms. I work heavily in graphic and computer design, which often carries over into traditinal mediums.

Tattooing being one of those mediums my process involves in many cases hand drawn work over deconstructed graphics. This takes the form of styles such as black work, sigilism, traditonal, script, and realism.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I grew up in Allentown PA, and am the middle of two brothers. As a kid I moved around a lot, moving from Hartford, to Atlanta, to Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.

Beyond aesthetics, my work is driven by exploring themes of consumer culture, human nature, and the ways we interact with our environment. I’m interested in how visuals communicate beyond the obvious, how texture and distortion can create layers of meaning. Whether through tattoos, design, or fine art, I aim to make work that challenges perception and invites people to engage on their own terms. Art has been a part of my life as long as I can rememeber.  My style has taken on many forms over the years, and I continue to explore new mediums.

OTHER ART
Apart from tattooing, I create a wide range of artwork, always experimenting with different styles and mediums. Some of my favorite ways to make art include charcoal, oil paint, computer graphics, and video art.

In many of my works I explore combining and deconstructing these styles reflecting a blend between digital and traditional design.

OUTSIDE OF MY WORK

Outside of art, I like being outdoors, whether skateboarding, rock climbing, or kayaking. It doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it gets me outside. Movement and exploration have always been a big part of how I think and create. Skating through the city or climbing a new route feels similar to making art.

It's about flow, adapting to your environment, and pushing boundries. Even my approach to design and tattooing is shaped by these experiences. I like things that feel raw, unfiltered, and alive whether in motion or on a canvas.
